The Index is a listing of suggested titles for policy statements. The Sisters School Disrict may not have adopted policies in all of these areas. This index may help locate policies and also help to identify codes for any new policies that might be added in the future. Click image below to download the Index. Adobe Reader The Policies and the Index are in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf), so you will need Adobe Reader to view the agenda. It is suggested that you download the most current version because you may not have all of the features to view the file correctly with an older version of Adobe Reader. Click on the image below to go to the Adobe website and download the Free Adobe Reader or to see what the most current version is. | | How to Find Policies on the Website To the left will be the various policy book sections and an FAQ/Help page. Click on the section you want and then click on the individual policy to bring it up. If you don't know exactly which policy you are looking for, check out the Index (in the column to the left). Click on the green icon to view the Index. Then, close the Index and move your cursor to the list of policies in the blue section on the left of your screen. Click on the group you want. A Table of Contents for each policy group will appear and the policies Sisters School District has adopted will be listed. Administrative regulations (AR) will appear in red. Click on the individual policy to open it.
Board of Education Policy Develpment
It is the intent of the Board of Education to develop policies and put them in writing so that they may serve as guidelines and goals for the successful and efficient functioning of Sisters School District. It is also the intent of this Board of Education that its policies serve as sources of information and guidance for all people who are interested in, or connected with, the public schools. The policies listed on the Policy pages have been adopted. Please Note: There is a delay between the time the board makes policy changes and the time those changes are available on this site. The policies on this site are for information only and do not reflect any updating activities in progress.
